Luciana Paluzzi

Actress Luciana Paluzzi was one of the many gorgeous Italian brunettes groomed for fame on the international stage following the death of the tragic Gina Lollobrigida. After working on both coasts of the Atlantic in the 1950s on films such as Three Coins in the Fountain, (1954), and Sea Fury, (1958), Luciana Paluzzi made her debut on American TV fame in the role of Simone Genet in the spy weekly Five Fingers in 1959. She was invited by Bond producers to discuss the possibility of being considered as the lead character Domino Derval's character in Thunderball. Terence Young, the director suggested that she be given Fiona Volpe the role as the villain. It was her one of many women who could resist Mr. Fiona Volpe is murdered on the dancefloor by Bond's own friends, possibly to retribute her for her behavior. James then places her dead body near a table, and then asks "Do you mind that my companion stays at home?" It's not her fault. Luciana's success as a European star was extended by this blockbuster at the box office. The actress was part of films including Captain Nemo and the Underwater City, The Six Million Dollar Man, The Klansman and The Greek Tycoon. Luciana Luciana Luciana
