Annette O'Toole spent her childhood in the Houston studio which was operated by mother. At the young age of two, she appeared for the first time on television when she was a kid in the Don Mahoney Show for Kids. At the age of 13, and had ten years worth of singing and dancing training behind her, she and her mother traveled on a journey to L.A. for a year to see if she could be a successful show business. Within two months she landed her first position: dancing with Danny Kaye on The Danny Kaye Show. She has made use of her singing and dancing abilities in a variety of ways.
